Magflow® TSG Vertical Inline Pump Product Description

Magflow® TSG Vertical Single-Stage In-Line Pump is a centrifugal pump containing a single impeller housed in a volute casing where the suction and discharge ports are aligned on a single horizontal axis (180° opposite).

Driven by a vertically mounted motor above the casing, it is designed for direct insertion into horizontal pipe runs. This setup eliminates 90° pipe bends, reduces floor footprint, and avoids foundation vibration alignment problems common to horizontal baseplate pumps.

 

Magflow® TSG Vertical Inline Pump Design Features

In-Line Volute Casing

  • Cast iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel casing with suction and discharge flanges of equal size located on the same horizontal centerline.

  • Smaller sizes can be supported directly by the pipeline; larger models feature cast feet for mounting to an inertia pad or baseplate.

 

 Impeller & Hydraulics

  • Houses a single radial or mixed-flow closed impeller dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 standards to minimize shaft vibration.

  • Equipped with replaceable casing wear rings to maintain optimum hydraulic efficiency ($70\%\text{--}88\%$ depending on pump size) and protect major castings from erosion.

 

Close-Coupled (Stub Shaft)

  • Impeller mounts directly to the extended motor shaft. Minimal Physical Footprint.
  • Protection from Liquid Leaks, it is best for Clean water/fluid circulation.
