Magflow® Multistage Pump Product Description

Magflow® TD series multistage pump is a heavy-duty, multi-stage horizontal centrifugal pump designed with modular ring-section casings to deliver reliable high-pressure fluid transfer for HVAC Water Circulation, mine dewatering, and demanding industrial applications. Engineered for high hydraulic efficiency and continuous operation, it features customizable material options and shaft sealing systems to handle clean to mild slurry media across extreme head conditions.

 

Magflow® Multistage Pump Design Features

  • Stator Assembly Core Components: Suction casing (inlet section), stage casings (middle section), discharge casing (outlet section), and guide vanes, clamped together by tie-bolts to form the pressure chamber.Nozzle Configurations: D Series: Horizontal inlet, top-vertical outlet.
  • Rotor Assembly Core Components: Shaft, impellers, balance disc, and shaft sleeves.Functionality: The shaft transmits power to drive the impellers. The balance disc counteracts axial thrust forces generated during operation. Replaceable shaft sleeves protect the shaft against wear and corrosion.
  • Bearing Assembly Core Components: Bearing housing, bearings, and bearing glands.Lubrication & Types:Standard models feature rolling bearings with grease lubrication.
  • Shaft Sealing SystemGland Packing Seal: Standard configuration comprising a seal housing, soft packing, and a deflector ring (water retaining ring) located on the suction section and rear end cover. Pressurized fluid in the seal cavity provides sealing, cooling, and lubrication. D Series: Seal water is internally flushed from high-pressure pump stages.
  • Drive & Rotation Drive Type: Direct-driven by the prime mover via a flexible coupling.Direction of Rotation: Clockwise when viewed from the drive end.
