Andman^® S Paper Pumps Core Design Features

Open impeller design — the defining feature of the S series. Two options: a 3-blade impeller with a large open cross-section (better for passing solids/fibrous material), or a 6-blade impeller for higher pressures and lower pressure pulsations. The open design gives low axial thrust and open flow channels suited to conveying difficult media like pulp stock.
Wear linings (2x) — replaceable liners protect the pump casing and casing cover itself, so the expensive casting doesn't wear out — you replace cheap liners instead.
Sturdy shaft — oversized for minimal deflection and low vibration, which extends seal and bearing life.
Oversized bearings — sized up from minimum requirements specifically for long service life.
Bearing support — a single casting combines the bearing housing and lantern (the piece connecting pump casing to bearing frame), and Andman uses only five bearing support sizes across the entire S series range — meaning fewer unique spare parts to stock regardless of pump size.
